Sponsor a Child Program
Why Should I Sponsor a Child?
For over 108 years, St. Augustine Indian Mission has worked at improving the lives of some of the children from the Omaha and Winnebago reservations. The Sponsor-A-Child program allows the students to take full advantage of the opportunities for intellectual, spiritual, and emotional growth offered at the school. St. Augustine Indian Mission relies on the generosity of our benefactors to help defray these costs through our Sponsor-A-Child Program.
Donors are assigned a specific student and are introduced at a luncheon held each spring. Sponsors receive notes from the students a few times throughout the year. This program is a wonderful way to have a personal relationship and positive impact on the life of a child on the reservation. Please pray and consider a full sponsorship for one of our students.
Full Sponsorship is $5,000 for a school year sponsorship
Half school year sponsorship - $2,500 per child **
Quarter year sponsorship - $1,250 per child **
Actual cost to educate a child is supplemented by our fundraising efforts.
