St. Augustine Teacher Named Educator of the Year

We are excited to announce that Ms. Paula Kuebler has been named Elementary Educator of the Year for the Archdiocese of Omaha. Ms. Kuebler will be honored on September 20th at a Banquet in Omaha. She will receive her award from Archbishop George Lucas.

Paula Keebler began teaching at St. Augustine?s in 2000. She has held a variety of roles at the Mission and currently serves as 2nd grade teacher. Paula earned her teaching degree from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD.

Paula grew up on a farm in Delmont, South Dakota where she lived with her parents, two older twin sisters and one younger brother. Family is important to Paula who travels often back to South Dakota to visit family, which include ten nieces and nephews.

When asked, Paula said?that she likes teaching at St. Augustine?s because it offers a faith based education where teachers and administrators have the opportunity to discuss God openly where other schools cannot.
