St. Augustine Indian Mission, Doing Our Part

St. Augustine educates students in kindergarten through 8th grade with a sound teaching strategy that incorporates the beliefs and teachings of the Catholic church, but also provides students with a foundation in their cultural heritage as well. Students are taught traditional Ho Chunk and Omaha languages and receive individualized instruction in reading which serves as the basis for all learning. Our students are making great strides in reading readiness thanks to the reading program implemented in 2010. Youth are encouraged through ongoing counseling services and now we are seeing children dream about college and beyond. Through the new Educare Early Childhood Center, students entering Kindergarten in the future will come to us ready to learn and ready for the rigorous academic expectations making the sky the limit.

We are making a difference here?.we could not do it without your help. THANK YOU!
