Circle of Dreams 2014

The event set an attendance record of over 400 guests including Archbishop George Lucas. Guests were treated to cocktails and dinner where they were serenaded by twenty St. Augustine Indian Mission students who sang songs and greeted guests.

This year’s event was chaired by long-time patrons, Terry and Kathy Sibbernsen and the program for the evening featured Grant Gibbs and Jahenns Manigat, senior players from the Creighton Men’s Basketball Team. Gibbs and Manigat shared their experience of triumph and adversity and then took questions from the crowd.

Over $50,000 was raised in the auction that night. In addition, patrons could purchase ornaments ranging from $50 to $500 to benefit the school. The specially designed glass ornaments were designed by nationally-known glass artist, Peggy Karr. Over $11,000 were raised through the sale of ornaments.

The overall goal of the event was $225,000. A total of just over $207,000 was raised over the evening. We continue to seek gifts in support of the event to propel us to our overall goal.

If you would like to purchase an ornament to help us reach our goal – please click here for the donation page. For a donation of at least $50 we will send you one of these specially designed glass ornaments that will serve as a wonderful reminder of your support of this important Mission. Supplies are limited.
